For many, thankfully, Montana is not known for density. So, fortunately there are numerous places and wide open land to ride your horses. Folks here enjoy wide-open spaces, spectacular views, individuality, courtesy, tolerance, and a big dose of respect on all levels. People are drawn to the beauty of this state from all over the country. The
state ranks fourth in area, Glacier National Park has Many Horse Trails
When people think of Montana, most think of Yellowstone National Park, and most certainly, the beauty does not stop at the park’s borders. Interesting guest ranches surround the Park where people ride horses onto some of the most beautiful land imaginable. Within an 75-mile radius of the park, the scenery is spectacular. The valley provided the backdrop for two Robert Redford movies: The River Runs Through It and The Horse Whisperer.

In Montana you enjoy a comfortable, but lively, Western lifestyle established 100 years ago that has only been refined in the context of today’s investment and recreational approach to acquiring real estate. Overall, and values have consistently increased, often exceeding national averages for farm and ranch sales. Factors that contribute to land value increases are low interest rates and favorable tax incentives, strong commodity prices and farm programs, out-of area investors and the continuing process of development. Many towns are well located for a fulfilling life, but not so close as to be swamped with “big box” stores and endless chain stores. |
